Route:
Start at the Beaver Dam location, turn left on Beaver Dam Road, proceed to Oregon Ridge then return to the Beaver Dam location.
This July, 60 high school students and adults from Hunt Valley Church will travel to Tijuana, Mexico to spend a week on mission.
During the week we will be partnering with a local organization called DOXA to build homes for families in need of permanent housing. It will be a life-changing week for all involved!
A trip like this requires a significant financial investment – a significant portion of which goes directly to purchasing construction supplies in Mexico to support local jobs. It costs roughly $9000 to build a home for each family, and it is our goal to build four homes the week we are there. This will be a rewarding week for our young people, as they will expand their leadership skills, practice compassion, and both learn from and give back to Mexican community members in need.
