Jesus gave his followers an outward mandate:

“You will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem,
throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." ~Acts 1:8

HVC’s mission statement includes two outward facing intentions, reaching and impacting, which are focused on those outside our church walls.
For simplicity’s sake, we call it all Impact, encompassing outreach, evangelism, missions, and service to our closest neighbors and to those around the world.

International Partnerships

We partner with indigenous-led, holistic ministries among the least reached peoples in three specific countries:

Among the least reached countries on Earth, Bangladesh is also among the poorest and most densely populated.

•  Presbyterian Church of Bangladesh: An indigenous-led ministry planting churches among Muslim communities

•  Kingdom Rain: A US-based ministry that equips leaders to build disciple-making movements in the least reached regions of the world

•  MTW Missionary: Working anonymously engaging in church planting, equipping with theological education, and caring for the poor and lost in Bangladesh

Wracked by ongoing conflict, a refugee crisis, poverty, and the persecution of Christians, there are a few promising openings for ministry here.

•  Life In Abundance: African-founded, based, and led, LIA equips local church leaders to serve and disciple the poor and vulnerable

Urban, wealthy, and technologically sophisticated, Japan is the second largest unreached people group in the world.

•  We are currently discerning a partner in this area of the world
