team

We are one body, but many parts. Each of us brings our unique gifting and identity to the whole. Get to know two new additions to our team and how their relationships with the Lord adds strength, depth, and measured leadership to the areas of worship and young adults.

Cole Jennette
Director of Worship

Cole is originally from Georgia and has been in Maryland for the last five years. He and his wife Mindy have three kids. You can often find Cole singing in the hallways of the Point or taking the long way home on his motorcycle.

Cole’s experiences working in multiple churches and in diverse industries have provided him a unique perspective on the world both inside and outside the church. He deeply loves hearing the church come together singing and his heart is to see the church authentically engaged in worship, encountering Jesus as the historical church did.

Bryan Nichols
Young Adult Coordinator

Bryan’s own faith journey was deeply impacted during his twenties as he had a group of friends who leaned in and modeled the Christian life. His own life has allowed him to be a meaningful pat of different churches while also answering the call to vocational ministry with CRU. He is passionate about a walking beside a community of young adults as they invest in their own faith life and seek to multiply that faith as their confidence grows.

Bryan Grew up in Parkville, Maryland along with his wife Kristen. Brian has served with CRU for the last twelve years and will be working in partnership with HVC through that ministry. Brian, Kristen, and their four kids have been at HVC since 2023. When not spending time with young adults, Brian’s four young children occupy most of his spare time, but he does occasionally find time for reading, writing, and soccer playing. He would like more time for stand-up paddle boarding, but maybe next year.
