HVC’s mission statement includes two outward facing intentions, reaching and impacting, which are focused on those outside our church walls. For simplicity’s sake, we call it all Impact, encompassing outreach, evangelism, missions, and service to our closest neighbors and to those around the world.
Internal HVC Ministries
We utilize our internal resources and volunteers to impact our surrounding community.
ESL (English as a Second Language classes) Weekly classes serve students from dozens of countries who speak a multitude of native languages.
Furniture Ministry Provides furniture to over 200 families and individuals each year working through local social service agencies and collects donations from nearly 180 donors. Click Here to find out more about the Furniture Ministry.

Bangladesh Among the least reached countries on Earth, Bangladesh is also among the poorest and most densely populated.
• Presbyterian Church of Bangladesh: Change to "An indigenous-led ministry planting churches in unreached communities and helping Christians grow in their faith."
• Kingdom Rain: A US-based ministry that equips leaders to build disciple-making movements in the least reached regions of the world kingdomrain.org
Sudan Wracked by ongoing conflict, a refugee crisis, poverty, and the persecution of Christians, there are a few promising openings for ministry here.

Japan Urban, wealthy, and technologically sophisticated, Japan is the second largest unreached people group in the world.
• Grace City Church Tokyo: Under the leadership of a Japanese pastor, the church loves, serves, and brings the Gospel to the people of Tokyo
• Jeff & Katie Saunders: Work with RUF-Global to develop relationships and share Jesus with students at Waseda University
• MTW Missionary: Working anonymously to train, support, and disciple nearly 200 missionaries in the Asia Pacific region as they plant new churches and spread the gospel
