As we go about our daily lives, we often encounter opportunities to engage and even serve others around us. We hope and pray that each of us will have eyes to see and ears to hear (Prov. 20:12) what God is doing around us and take the initiative to engage in ways we feel called. This can be with friends, family, co-workers, those you volunteer with (PTA, animal shelter, etc.), or do recreation with (cycling team, book club, etc.).

First, pray.

Seek God’s guidance for who He wants you to reach and how. Ask for His will to be accomplished with your interaction.

Second, do.

Take the step to engage.

Third, follow up.

Pray about the next steps God wants you to take with that person.
