Free workouts! This is the original “we pick them up and we put them down” ministry that makes many other ministries possible. The chair team supports HVC behind the scenes with set up and break down of the auditorium for ministry activities and events. We have a Sunday-after-services group who stacks chairs and sets-up tables. And we have another group which meets after work on Thursdays to breakdown tables and set up the rows of chairs with precision. Most “chairpersons” commit to once or twice a month, for an hour. Men, women & teens are encouraged to join our team. Requires the ability to lift 10 lbs above waist level and connect the dots on the floor. Contact Joyce Ruckman.

Opportunities are available for volunteers to help with food preparation and food service, to serve as table leaders, to decorate the auditorium, and to help with administration for these events. To serve, contact Melissa Horrigan (email@example.com).

We invite you to join our team in shaping the lives of the children entrusted to us at Front Porch (Birth – 24 months), House Party (2 yrs – Pre-K), Street Party (K-4th grade).
Party Town greeters are needed to welcome all of our first time guests and help them register on our computerized check-in system. They assign children to the proper room and help the families find their room and learn about our ministry.
Front Porch, House Party, and Street Party Substitutes are needed each Sunday to fill in for our regular teachers when they must miss a Sunday morning due to illness or trips.
Worship leaders are needed during the 9:30 and 11:00 AM services to sing along with our music and lead the children in dance moves. Singing ability is not essential – mostly we need someone with high energy to encourage the kids to sing along and worship.
Mom and Me Nursery care givers are needed on the first Tuesday of each month to care for younger siblings while the Mom & Me program is in progress downstairs.
