Thank you for your interest in partnering with New Life Furniture Warehouse. We are excited about the opportunity to serve more individuals in need by joining forces and working with your organization. We hope to broaden the impact of your client assistance by addressing a very specific need in the lives of those that have little to nothing.

Since 2001 we have assisted families and individuals in need and, in partnership with your agency, hope we can expand the number of people assisted.  We seek to partner with agencies that specialize in community service and crises management in order to provide the basic needs of furniture and household goods to those in need.

Agency Process

Our goal is to make it as easy as possible for agencies to utilize our resource to assist their clients. Because we are a volunteer organization, we are not staffed to be open and available on a daily basis. Please follow these steps:

  1. Leave a message at 410-771-0053 or email newlifefurniturewarehouse@gmail.com to arrange an appointment for your client to visit our warehouse and select furniture to meet their needs.
  2. Confirm that your client has a means of getting to our warehouse and transporting furniture to their home.  We do not deliver furniture.
  3. Once a visit has been scheduled, please make sure each client has a Client Authorization Form which needs to be presented at the time of the warehouse visit. It must be signed by a member of your agency’s administration to confirm that the recipient has been pre-screened regarding their needs. Furniture will not be given without the Client Authorization Form.
  4. Inform your client that a liability release form will need to be signed by them prior to them leaving the warehouse with furniture.

 

Additionally, we do not hold furniture or allow pre-screening of the inventory.  Clients may not refer family members and friends; we only accept agency referrals. Appointments are necessary for all clients on Wednesdays or Saturdays.

Furniture Provided

We typically inventory all common household furniture items, as well as household goods such as small appliances, linens, lamps, kitchenware and the like.  Because demand outpaces inventory at times, clients are eligible to receive five (5) large items and several smaller household items. No exceptions. We ask that recipients and agencies are respectful of others in need by observing a “once-in-a-lifetime” procurement policy and not returning multiple times to take furniture.
